Top Three Tuesday and other comments…
Before going to that fun thing called Top Three Tuesday, I’m going to check in on a few things here…
Got the flu shot yesterday because most of my fellow co-workers don’t not cover their mouth when they cough. And when I’m around them for hours on end and close proximity… Yeah, going to be popping all sorts of vitamins starting next week.
Watched the Felix Baumgartner jump from over 128,000 feet Sunday. What was cool about it was it was the same date Chuck Yaeger broke the sound barrier way back in the day. Me, I’m not too fond of heights so a braver man is he. Maybe withe tech that went into making the suit he wore will lead to better and cheaper suits and another step in way to making Space a destination and hopefully maybe seeing a manned mission to Mars.
Am finding out I’m spending more time on the net and not watching TV as much. Well, it happens this time of year. The weather gets colder and staying indoors is preferable. That’s why I have my PSP and download the shows I want to watch.
My local library next weekend is having their quarterly sale. And while I’m not a friend of the local library, I usually score a few gems. So crossing my fingers this time…
Without further ado…
Top Three Favorite Soundtracks…
(Can’t find a decent drum roll app so I have given up on the idea of having a drum roll)
1. Iron Eagle
2. White Nights
3. Vision Quest
(A span of a year that these three soundtracks/movies came out and I still have them on my MP3 player)
My favorite is White Nights. It’s a eclectic mix of music. From Lou Reed to Phil Collins and Gregory Hines doing tap dancing as a part of an instrumental. Vision Quest is a close second. From Journey to Don Henley. You’ll have a chuckle after listening to “She’s On The Zoom’. Background vocals done by the Gogo’s.
Well, Xangans what are your favorite Soundtracks??? Going back to a food top three Tuesday and may expand it to five and maybe to ten. Three is too narrow for most topics.
Time to get ready for work and maybe keep my sanity in tact for one more week. And whatever leftovers for the first meal of the day.

I haven’t heard of any of those. I have all three Lord of the Rings, August Rush, and the first Shrek movie soundtrack. I also love a lot of the music from Disney kid’s movies, especially ones from my childhood. One of my client’s grandkids had a toothbrush that played “The Bear Necessities” from Jungle Book, and sometimes I just couldn’t resist playing it while I was cleaning the counter.
I guess I’m just not much into soundtracks. Actually, I like the soundtrack from Castaway very much.
Good on you for getting the flu shot. I always do.
Ooooh. I forgot about White Nights. This is kind of difficult. I LOVE the soundtracks to Knights Tale and Top Gun. Of course, I also like the soundtrack to Day of the Dolphin and Romeo & Juliet. And I like the soundtrack from Tarzan (Disney) with Phil Collins. You are correct. 3 isn’t enough on some of these subjects!
Good luck with the library finds.
soundtracks: Grease, the Little Mermaid, and Fiddler on the Roof
